Healthy Cornwall aims to support people living in Cornwall and Isles of Scilly to make the healthy choices.
The service supports people with:
- Weight management
- Healthy eating
- Physical activity
- Stopping smoking
- Healthy pregnancy
Due to Covid face to face support within the community has been suspended until further notice however, advisors are currently working from home and continue to support people by telephone, text or video call (via Microsoft Teams or Skype).
The team are busy creating a virtual and digital offer through their website, YouTube channel and social media. You can access their short videos which include information for people with learning disabilities, healthy top tips, seasonal recipes and simple exercises that you can do at home. They are also promoting live virtual Healthy Weight group sessions to include Weekly Weight Ins and Healthy Eating sessions.
