Cardiology Tests

 

Introduction

Community Diagnostic Centre provide diagnostic services for adults in the community, reducing the need for patients to travel long distances.

 

Tests Available

• 12 lead ECG
• Ambulatory ECGs from 24 hour to 7-day monitoring
• Ambulatory blood pressure
• Echocardiograms

 

Exclusions

• Known or suspected congenital heart disease
• Syndromes commonly associated with congenital heart disease
• Patients NTproBNP >2000 (Rapid access heart failure clinic referral required)
• Age < 16 years
• Weight >160kg
• Patients without an NHS number.
