Congenital & Paediatric Hand Conditions
Babies and children with congenital hand conditions runs once a month on Thursday mornings within Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust.
Typical conditions include:
- Trigger thumb
- Camptodactyly
- Clinodactyly
- Polydactyly
- Hypoplastic thumb
- Syndactyly
- Overgrowth
- Undergrowth
- Constriction band
More complex conditions which are part of a syndrome will typically have their treatment coordinated by a centre with the necessary paediatric and anaesthetic expertise, but the clinic can often help with the initial referral and follow up in order to minimise the need for long journeys elsewhere for patients and their families.
This clinic is run by Mrs Rebecca Dunlop FRCS(Plast), Dip Hand Surg, Consultant Plastic and Hand Surgeon
