Other pharmacy services
Patients can self-refer to participating pharmacies for:

Gluten-free foods – supply of gluten-free foods without a prescription to patients with a diagnosis of coeliac disease. Available at all pharmacies.

Hypertension – one-off or ambulatory blood pressure monitoring. Suitable for opportunistic checks or patients already diagnosed who need monitoring. Available at selected pharmacies only – select the name of the pharmacy and then "Treatment and services" to see individual services available.

Prescription recharge scheme – free-of-charge provision of prescriptions to asylum seekers at approved sites. Available at selected pharmacies only – check local area.

Substance misuse:
- Supervised consumption – for methadone and buprenorphine treatment prescribed via addiction services. Available at all pharmacies.
- Needle exchange – provision and disposal of needles for drug use at selected pharmacies only – select the name of the pharmacy and then "Treatment and services" to see individual services available.

Vaccinations:
- Influenza vaccinations – available at all pharmacies.
- COVID-19 vaccinations – available at selected pharmacies only.
- Travel vaccinations and malaria prophylaxis – available at selected pharmacies. Select the name of the pharmacy and then "Treatment and services" to see individual services available.
