Out-toeing
Symmetrical Asymptomatic outtoeing can be a normal variant caused by either external tibial torsion, proximal femoral retroversion or a combination of the two. Outtoeing may be symptomatic or asymptomatic. There are a number of differential diagnoses that may present with an outtoeing gait (eg Perthes, Slipped upper femoral epiphysis).
