Surgery for isolated snoring is not routinely commissioned

INDICATIONS FOR REFERRAL:

Snoring is not an indication for secondary care referral.

ENT surgery (including Tonsillectomy) will only be considered for snoring in OSAHS to improve compliance with CPAP; or with nasal pathology such as

Adults with associated Obstructive Sleep Apnoe should be referred to the respiratory team. Please review this guidance prior to referral
