Penile Cancer
Introduction
Penile cancer is rare, with about 500 cases diagnosed in the UK each year1. It is usually, but not exclusively, seen in older uncircumcised men.
Investigations prior to referral
Exclude/treat sexually transmitted infections.

Suspected Urology Cancer Pathway – Penile:
Refer via the Fast Track Suspected Urology Cancer pathway if:

Penile mass or ulcerated lesion on glans penis or prepuce
- Unexplained or persistent symptoms affecting foreskin or glans such as unusual foul-smelling discharge, bleeding, phimosis or swollen inguinal lymph nodes in groin area
