Sensory Difficulties

 

1. WRAPS pathway:  WRAPS pathway is for children who are School entry to 8 years; referral should ideally be through school team / SENCo.  

GPs and other professionals can refer but must meet referral criteria including completing functional information with parent / carer. Referral will not be accepted without this.

2. Sensory needs in preschool children, or children over 8 years: 

Children below school entry age who meet our service criteria will be seen on an individual basis.

All referrals should provide specific and detailed information demonstrating the children’s functional difficulties. Referral will not be accepted without this 

 

3. Sensory issues related to extreme behaviours which affect the child’s safety and emotional wellbeing should be signposted to the Early help Hub
