Paediatric community therapies cannot be accessed through eRS. Please follow the links below to make a referral or seek advice. Please do not refer to community paediatrics for community paediatric therapies.'
1. WRAPS pathway: Work, Rest and Play the Sensory Way
WRAPS pathway is for children who are School entry to 8 years; referral should ideally be through school team / SENCo and must meet CCTS OT service criteria – See Paediatric Community Occupational Therapy page
GPs and other professionals can refer but must meet referral criteria including completing functional information with parent / carer. Referral will not be accepted without this.

2. Sensory needs in preschool children:
Children below school entry age who meet the service criteria will be seen either on an individual basis for assessment and intervention (as clinically appropriate) or will be offered intervention through our Mini WRAPS Pathway. Children must meet CCTS OT service criteria - See Paediatric Community Occupational Therapy page

3. Sensory needs in children over 8 years:
Referral can be made for Occupational Therapy Assessment and input if over the age of 8. The Triage team will identify Assessment and Intervention route. Children must meet CCTS OT service criteria - See Paediatric Community Occupational Therapy page

4. Sensory issues related to extreme behaviours:
Which affect the child’s safety and emotional wellbeing should be signposted to the Early help Hub and CAMHS/CAMHS LD (Learning disability) team. If there are any safeguarding concerns, consider contacting MARU. For more information see: Safeguarding Children
